Vivah Muhurat August 2028: Wedding Dates and Times
Dates by the classical marriage rules, at sunrise in New Delhi. Check them against both partners’ birth stars before deciding.
No wedding dates in August 2028
No day of this month passes every marriage rule. The reasons are listed below.
Check the dates for both of you
These dates pass the calendar rules for everyone. A date can still be weak for one partner because of Tara bala or Chandra bala, which depend on each person’s birth star and Moon sign. The wedding dates tool checks both partners and suggests clean time windows for your town.
Why the other days were left out
Each day is counted under the first rule it fails.
- Chaturmas: 31
Questions people ask
- Which rules are used for these vivah muhurat dates?
- The Moon must be in one of the eleven marriage nakshatras (Rohini, Mrigashira, Magha, Uttara Phalguni, Hasta, Swati, Anuradha, Mula, Uttara Ashadha, Uttara Bhadrapada, Revati). Rikta tithis, Ashtami and Amavasya, Tuesdays, Vyatipata and Vaidhriti yoga, Bhadra at sunrise, Kharmas, Chaturmas and the days when Jupiter or Venus is combust are left out. Values are taken at sunrise in New Delhi.
- Why are there no wedding dates in some months?
- Kharmas (mid-December to mid-January and mid-March to mid-April), Chaturmas (from Devshayani to Devuthani Ekadashi) and the weeks when Jupiter or Venus is combust are traditionally closed for weddings, so whole months can have no dates.
- Are the times the same in every city?
- No. The suggested window is for New Delhi. Sunrise, Rahu Kaal and Choghadiya change with the town, and on a few days the tithi or nakshatra at sunrise differs too. The wedding dates tool calculates them for your own town.
